Multicraft Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are currently seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located in Auburn, AL, 36830. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting skills, electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and hydraulics experience.
Responsibilities
1.Equipment Maintenance:Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse array of machinery, including but not limited to, conveyor systems, production lines, packaging equipment, and hydraulic systems.
2.Troubleshooting: Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with machinery and equipment promptly. Identify root causes of malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
3.Electrical Work: Perform electrical repairs and installations, including wiring, circuitry, and control panels. Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
4.Mechanical Repairs: Conduct mechanical repairs and adjustments on motors, bearings, gears, and other mechanical components. Perform precision alignment and calibration to optimize equipment performance.
5.Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and ensure proper functioning to support production operations.
6.Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively address potential equipment failures. Perform scheduled inspections, lubrication, and replacements to extend equipment lifespan and minimize breakdowns.
7.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts. Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvement.
8.**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Identify and address potential safety hazards, and participate in safety training and initiatives.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize equipment uptime. Provide technical support and guidance to operators as needed.
